Rep. Jack Rader of Monroe County is set to host an identity theft seminar in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. The event aims to inform residents about the latest scams and provide tools to protect personal information.
The seminar will be held on Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m., at the Blakeslee Community Center located at 5669 Route 115 in Blakeslee. Attendees can enter from 5:30 p.m.
"Protecting your identity is no longer optional – it is essential. This seminar will equip attendees with the tools and knowledge they need to safeguard their personal information and stay one step ahead of the scammers," stated Rader.
David Shallcross, director of the senior protection unit with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, will lead the seminar. He will discuss recent scams and strategies to avoid becoming a victim.
