PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Delaware Water Gap, Monroe County,
Pennsylvania, at 49 Main Street, Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania 18327, until 4:00 P.M.,
Monday, November 7, 2022, for the purchase of the following: used 675 E New Holland loader
backhoe or comparable make/model with minimum net horsepower 98HP, 4 wheel drive and
enclosed climate-controlled cab. The loader backhoe must be in operable condition subject to
inspection by the Borough.
All bids shall be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked “BACKLOADER BID.” No bid or
proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date specified above for
receiving, opening, or reading of bids. Any bid approved by Borough Council will be subject to
inspection of the loader backhoe to confirm its condition prior to payment. Borough Council
reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any defects or
irregularities in the proposals. Borough Council further reserves the right to reject any proposal
deemed not to be in the best interest of the Borough.
All timely submitted bids will be opened and read as part of the regular meeting of Borough
Council on November 7, 2022, starting at 7:00 p.m. Bids may be acted upon at that meeting
unless all bids are rejected.
