NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Pocono Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will consider at a Public Hearing to be held at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th day of January, 2022, at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372, the adoption of an Ordinance amending Chapter 398, Taxation, Article IV, Amusement Tax, of the Code of Ordinances of Pocono to increase the rate of the amusement tax from 3% to 5% for general Township purposes. The expected amount of revenue to be derived from this increase is $266,837.58. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for review at the Pocono Township Municipal Building located at 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372, during normal business hours.
