Reflection: What Bible stories come to mind as examples of people with hearts hardened to the transforming gift of God’s love and mercy? Has there been a time in your own life when you leaned away from God through acting selfishly or choosing to do something even though you knew it was wrong? How did this impact your relationship with other people? What did (or might) you do to open yourself to God once again?
