Saint Matthew Parish issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.

Reflection: How and when do you intentionally listen to and learn from Jesus? At the beginning of a liturgical year, the Advent season focuses on preparing for the joyous solemnities of Christmas, in which the first coming of the Son of God to humanity is remembered. Advent is also a time of expectant waiting, looking forward to Christ’s second coming at the end of time. How are you preparing your mind and heart to celebrate the mystery of the Incarnation and to be ready to welcome Jesus whenever he comes again?
