SLIPPERY ROCK UNIVERSITY: SRU Earns Six Education Digital Marketing Awards

Slippery Rock University issued the following announcement.

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University earned six Education Digital Marketing Awards for 2020. In its eighth year, the EDMAs recognize the best educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media from entries that were received from colleges, universities and secondary schools across the country.

Five of the six awards won by SRU were for worked produced by the University Communication and Public Affairs Office, including submissions from two UCPA divisions, Athletic Communication and Web Communication and Development. The other award-winning entry was submitted by SRU on behalf of one of its agencies, Beyond Spots & Dots.

The following SRU entries earned EDMA Gold Awards:

The SRU website, www.sru.edu, by Web Communication and Development in the Institutional Website category.

The official website of Rock Athletics, www.rockathletics.com, by Athletic Communication in the Athletic Website category.

"Senior Showcase" by Athletic Communication in the Social Media Content in the Campaign category.

"SRU Webpage Takeover Skin" by Beyond Spots & Dots in the Web Banner Ad or Website Takeover category.

Other submissions earning recognition included "The 2019 SRU Holiday Card" and "Playing It Safe with Rocky" each by UCPA earning a Bronze and Merit award, respectively, in the Digital Video: Under 2 Minutes category.

Higher Education Marketing Report sponsors the EDMAs. The awards are judged by a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the EDMA editorial board.
