Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District issued the following announcement.
This is a reminder on behalf of the ACV FIRST Program and the Angels for Christmas gift-giving project. The Angels for Christmas gift pick up is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8th from 10 AM - 6 PM at the Emlenton United Methodist Church. This year, due to social distancing guidelines, no one picking up gifts may enter the church. Volunteers will greet you under the drive-thru canopy of the church where you will wait in your car while they will retrieve your gifts and deliver them to your vehicle. Our hope is that we will have entrances and exits marked to guide you, but in the event that we are unable to post signs to direct the flow of traffic, please enter the upper parking lot of the church from Kerr Avenue making a big loop through the upper parking lot, down to the canopy, and back out onto Kerr Avenue to avoid traffic congestion. We look forward to seeing you on this day.
