East Stroudsburg University issued the following announcement.
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) will return to Monroe County from November 16-22, 2020 with a host of different workshops for business professionals and entrepreneurs. The weeklong celebration is sponsored by East Stroudsburg University in collaboration with the Monroe 2030 Action Team. 2020 will mark the second year that this annual event has come to Monroe County.
GEW is a worldwide celebration that reaches millions of people each November. Every workshop, event and activity is designed to give entrepreneurs the skills and network they need to help grow their businesses. While this year may look a bit different than last, organizers hope that the community will embrace the virtual format.
“We really had to pivot when planning this year due to COVID-19, but the workshops and activities we have planned are engaging, timely, and innovative. We really hope to reach our community, as well as others on a regional, national and global scale through our completely virtual format,” said Jamie Kizer, interim director of entrepreneurship at East Stroudsburg University.
