East Stroudsburg University issued the following announcement.
More than 30 students and community members attended Tuesday’s community candlelight vigil on Stroudsburg’s Courthouse Square to honor victims and survivors of domestic violence/intimate partner violence.
“Shine a Light for Healing” was a collaborative event with East Stroudsburg University’s Office of Wellness Education and Prevention partnering with Women’s Resources of Monroe County, Inc.
ESU Interim President Mr. Kenneth Long and Lauren Peterson, executive director at Women’s Resources of Monroe County, Inc., greeted participants and advocates for this very personal initiative.
