82 percent of applicants to East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania were admitted for fall 2018

At East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in East Stroudsburg enrolled 6,412 students in fall 2018, including 5,700 in undergraduate and 712 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

80 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 19 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).

The school admitted 82 percent of the 8,565 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
