East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania saw a 4.9% reduction in in-state tuition for the 2022-23 school year, as revealed in the most recent data, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Pennsylvania residents paid $10,987 to attend the public four-year university this year, a decline of $572 from the $11,559 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students faced tuition costs 72.5% higher than those for residents in 2022-23, paying $18,953. This amount reflects a 5.7% decrease from the $20,097 tuition fee in the previous year.

Approximately 78% of the undergraduate student body at the university are Pennsylvania residents, while about 21% come from other states and 1% are international students.

Data indicates that 98% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. A total of 1,101 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $9.4 million, and 741 students obtained student loans exceeding $5.6 million.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 3,292 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $24.6 million. Additionally, 2,534 students took out federal student loans amounting to $16.2 million.
