Senator Rosemary M. Brown has announced the allocation of over $6.2 million in state grants to support projects within the 40th Senate district. The funding is aimed at strengthening infrastructure, enhancing public safety, and improving residents’ quality of life.

“I’m proud to work alongside our local officials, first responders, nonprofit leaders and community partners to secure this critical funding,” stated Brown. “These state investments reflect the power of collaboration at every level and working together to strengthen our infrastructure, improve public safety and enhance the quality of life for our residents.”

The grants are part of the Commonwealth Finance Authority’s Local Share Account program, which is financed by gaming revenues in Pennsylvania. The program provides financial support for projects that promote public interest and community development in eligible counties.
