Tobyhanna Township in Monroe County has received $500,000 from the state’s Multimodal Transportation Fund Program. The announcement was made by Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe).

The funding will be directed toward upgrades for the I-380 Southbound Off Ramp Realignment Project. According to the announcement, the money will support construction, engineering, and administrative costs related to these improvements.

Rep. Rader stated, “Today’s award will enhance our infrastructure and meet the needs of residents for years to come. It is important to invest in our roadway maintenance.”

The Multimodal Transportation Fund Program is managed by the Commonwealth Financing Authority and aims to promote economic development while ensuring a safe and reliable transportation system for Pennsylvania residents.
