A $500,000 grant has been awarded to Tobyhanna Township in Monroe County for roadway and intersection improvements as part of the I-380 Southbound Off Ramp Realignment Project. The funding comes from Pennsylvania’s Multimodal Transportation Fund Program (MTF), which is administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

According to Rep. Jack Rader (R-Monroe), “Today’s award will enhance our infrastructure and meet the needs of residents for years to come. It is important to invest in our roadway maintenance.”

The grant will be used to cover construction, engineering, and administrative costs related to the project. The MTF Program aims to support economic development and provide a safe, reliable transportation system for Pennsylvania residents.
